Mangler's Wrestling Blog Anniversay

Blog Anniversary

(random ramblings from the Mangler)

Today is the 5th anniversary of the rebirth of the Mangler Wrestling site.

You have Alex Miller (The Cave) to thank for that and I truly appreciate him for it.  While I was reading his site in 2020, he mentioned (The Cave: Firsts) that one of my stories, ( A Family Affair), was the first wrestling story he read, and he had many complimentary things to say.  Interestingly enough, he had some parts of the story he really didn't like (referred to them as yucky), but he mentioned what he did like: is so not my personal taste but the inter-character dynamics got me through that.

I found (and still find) that sentence very interesting. I think inter-character dynamics were the least successful part of my early stories, and while my newer ones are better, I still find them lacking. Alex does a way better job of that, and that is one reason I enjoy his stories so much. He brings his characters to life.

By
 Crusher

Well guys, I have to tell you this story about my experiences that took place over the past holiday season. I didn’t really expect that my trip would end up being filled with events that would make a story for this website, but I am compelled to tell you about it.

Who's The Man Now

Who’s the Man Now?

by
Crusher

Eric hadn’t had a real easy time of it growing up. His mother ran off and left him and his dad when he was only three years old. So, it was just Eric and his dad for as long as he could remember. Eric’s dad, Tom was a retired marine and was very strict in his son’s upbringing. Tom had an attitude with a capital A and he never hesitated to embarrass Eric regardless of where they were. Even in front of Eric’s friends. It just seemed as though no matter what Eric did, he could not please his father. If Eric washed the car, his dad would point out spots that he had missed or say that it was dull and make him wax it over again. Or whenever Eric would buy something new to wear, his dad would tell him that it looked ridiculous and many times Tom would forbid him to wear it and make him return it. Those and many other similar things drove Eric crazy. But what really pissed Eric off the most was when his dad would embarrass him in front of his friends.

He loved riding his own Harley and had always wanted to be a motorcycle cop. It was not easy, but he managed to get a few strings pulled and finally got what he wanted.

Scott's Delivery

Scott Receives a Delivery

by Crusher

It was a hot morning in late August and Scott was in a very good mood. Or rather he had been in a good mood. Now, he was starting to get irritated. He had just recently moved into the new home that he had built, and today was the day the guys from the Athletic Equipment Company were to deliver and set-up his new wrestling ring. Scott had another building built behind his new house that he would use for a gym. He had plans for an elaborate set-up. Locker-room, showers, mat-room, weight training equipment - the works. Including a large room which would house a Pro-Wrestling Ring. That would be his pride and joy. He couldn’t wait to get it set up. The guys from the Athletic Equipment Company were supposed to have been there at eight o clock this morning. It was now half past ten and there was still no sign of them. Scott was really getting upset. He made a phone call to the equipment company to find out where the delivery guys were. He was rather belligerent while talking to the man on the phone. Scott was never a very patient man. Very demanding in fact. He had a natural ability to piss people off with his rudeness. The man on the phone said that they were running behind but they should be there very soon. Scott slammed the phone down and began pacing around impatiently.

New In the Neighborhood II

New in the Neighborhood 2

Two days later (on Monday afternoon), Jack was making his deliveries as usual although he was still sore and feeling the effects of the beating that he had taken.  He had a package to be delivered to Bill Weber, Jerry’s next door neighbor.  Jack knew everybody in the area since he had been on this route for several years.  He had made several deliveries to the Weber’s and had a friendly acquaintance with them.  He rang the bell and Curtis answered the door.

Wrestle-Stud Destruction?

Wrestle-Stud Destruction?

by Crusher

Mike smiled as he looked in the mirror. He was quite pleased at what he saw. And he should be too. After all, he has worked long and hard to get his magnificent physique to this point of perfection. The image reflecting from the mirror was beginning to give him a hard-on. And it’s no wonder, he stood 6 feet tall and weighed 225 pounds of solid well-defined muscle. He was really ripped. He had a handsome face with jet black hair, cut short but not quite buzzed, and a thick black mustache with a day’s growth of beard stubble. His granite-like pecs and washboard abs were covered with just the right amount of wiry black hair too. Mike spent a good bit of time outdoors so his rich bronze tan added to his masculine beauty. He didn’t look like he was 35 years old, but he was. Most people thought that he was younger.

Tango

TANGO

 by Crusher

Tango had been in the United States for several weeks. He came up from Argentina to do some research for his job. He always like to keep himself in good shape, so one of the first things that he did was to find a gym where he could work out. Since he was staying in a large metropolitan area this was not difficult. He discovered a gym that was only two blocks from his hotel. Because it was convenient to his location, he decided that he would use this facility to serve his needs. It didn’t take long for Tango to realize that the membership of this gym was made of mostly men who were wrestlers. Some of them just wrestled for fun and some of the guys were professional wrestlers who liked using this gym to stay in shape in between gigs.

New In The Neighborhood

New in the Neighborhood

It had been a long time coming.  Jerry had been searching for almost a year for the perfect new house to buy.  He was not about to  settle  for anything less than exactly what he wanted.  Not only did the house have to be just so, but Jerry insisted that there be a place that he could set up his own private gym and wrestling ring.  To find a property that already included a building that he could use for this purpose was more than difficult but he was perfectly willing to buy a house that at least had enough ground that he could build what he needed.  At last his wish had come true.  The real estate agent whose services he had engaged contacted him about a new listing for a place that was just outside of town in a semi-rural area.  When Jerry went to look at the place, he found it to be perfect.  Not only was the house just what he had wanted but about forty feet behind the house was a huge four car garage.  Since there was already a two car garage attached to the house, Jerry thought that this building in the back would be perfect for him to convert into his gym.  He immediately made an offer and a few days later he learned that it had been accepted.

Big Brother to the Rescue

Big Brother to the Rescue!

By
Crusher

Vinnie is a senior in high school.  He was enjoying his senior year very much.  He had lots of things going on.  His best friend is Chal Caplin.  Chal’s father owned a public gym in town.  The gym was closed on Sundays, so he permitted Chal and his buddies to use the facilities when they were closed.  Vinnie, Chal and the gang would get together every Sunday and spend the better part of the day at Cap’s Gym.  They loved to pretend that they were professional wrestlers and they would have match after match in the ring.  Vinnie however, was considerably smaller than the rest of the guys.  They were all juniors and seniors in high school and were 18 years old.  But Vinnie was only five feet five inches tall and weighed 135 pounds.  He had dark hair and eyes and was beginning to show some hair on his chest.  Both of his parents were of Italian heritage and you could tell just to look at him that he was Italian.  He was a handsome young lad.  Most of the other guys were anywhere from five feet nine to six feet two inches tall and weighed in around 165 to 200 pounds.  So, you can imagine what Vinnie was up against.

Tuff-Tony's Lesson - Part Two

TUFF-TONY S LESSON - Part Two

by Crusher

Tony slammed the door as he stormed out of the promoter’s office. He had just been arguing with the promoter about the humiliating situation that he had been put through by Nasty Nick and his kid brother Jim in that motel room outside of Atlanta several days ago. Tony wanted out. He said that he could never face anybody in the EAWF again. He was totally mortified after Nick showed the video of his little brother giving Tony the worst physical and sexual beating of his life to everyone in the organization. But Sam, the promoter told Tony that he had a signed contract and that he had absolutely no choice in the matter.

TUFF-TONY -- BASHED ON THE BEACH

Tony had spoken with his lawyer about getting out of contract. However, the lawyer explained that while it would probably be possible, it would mean a public court fight, public display of the tape, and many other humiliating questions. Tony had decided that he could manage to fulfill the contract so that his recent ordeals would remain private. What he had not counted on was the reaction to the other wrestlers.

Tony's Destiny

Tony’s Destiny

by Crusher

Tony was finally beginning to wake up. His eyes opened and he tried to focus on his surroundings. He had no idea where he was. Nothing looked familiar to him. When he tried to move, he realized that he had been restrained. He was on a bed with his arms and legs stretched out and tied to the bed-frame. Once again, panic set in when Tony realized his situation. He was laying naked on a strange bed tied up in a spread-eagled position. He struggled to try to free himself but it was no use. His capture had him bound very securely.
