Beach Bash

The Mangler
The guys of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) had initially come to town for spring break – and had a blast. While there, they learned there was a beach wrestling tournament in the city every year in May after most of the crowd had left. In order to compete, each wrestler had to cough up 5000 dollars, but the winner got ALL the money while everyone else got nothing. There were three divisions – 200 - 230#’s, 170- 199#’s and 140-169#’s. After some discussion, the five guys returned to town and had their star wrestler, Matt, enter the tournament. It would be a quick way to pick up some serious cash IF Matt could win – and of that, they had no doubt. Matt stood just a little over 6' tall, weighed in at 210 rock-solid pounds, had a massive upper body that tailored down into a slim waist – and was drop-dead gorgeous as well. Matt had an ego to go with his body, but so far had lived up to it. Matt didn’t have money yet, so each guy agreed to put up 1000 dollars.
They returned to town for the tournament, and as
expected, Matt was the winner. Since ten fighters were in the HW division, he
had won a cool $50,000. Unfortunately, his ego and his friends had put that
money at risk. That’s because the winner of the Lightweight division (Blade –
5'10" tall, 169 pounds, thin, lanky) had started riding Matt almost as
soon as the matches were over about being a pretty boy pussy. This had not set
well with Matt, and a war was brewing. A challenge had been issued and
accepted, Matt versus Blade, with the winner getting ALL the money (which came
out to $80,000 as there had only been six wrestlers in the lightweight
division). Initially, Matt had not wanted to risk the money (although he felt
there was no risk), but his friends had talked him into it since it would be “a
cinch to beat that skinny little nothing.” After negotiating the rules, it was
decided to be an NHB fight to pin or submission.
