Night one match 5
Gauntlet: Ty and Jimmy vs. LJ
and "Buff"
Biff
Even
after Harry and Dane's altercation, and after George had gone with them to amend the contract for his match with Dane,
Ty was nowhere near ready for another match by the time George returned to
announce the next opponents. And Jimmy
wasn't in the best shape, either. But they had signed onto a Gauntlet, and that's what they were getting. As Ty could
still barely stand, Jimmy waited inside
the ring for the next team of heels.
George announced, "And now, the fourth match of tonight's gauntlet! After the third, it will be exciting to see how long these little guys can last! Their opponents will be two men who were themselves opponents earlier this evening. Introducing their first opponent, a professional bouncer who can reach into tomorrow, weighing in at 248 pounds, LONG JOHN!" The crowd applauded as the tall, broad wrestler lumbered to the ring and stood inside it, in his corner, staring down a terrified Jimmy. "And all the way from Tampa, a heel if ever there was one, at 258 pounds, `Buff' BIFF!" Biff was just as tall as LJ, but even broader. He looked like he could break either of them with no effort. After a quick discussion, Biff stepped out of the ring and LJ turned to face off with Jimmy.
When
the bell rang, Jimmy lunged, ramming his shoulder into LJ's gut. He pushed the big guy into the ropes, and whipped
him off them across the ring. LJ hit the
opposite ropes and came back to a dropkick from Jimmy. The crowd was ecstatic. Jimmy hit the ropes and landed a
leg on LJ's chest. LJ didn't seem to
notice, though, as he began getting up anyway. Jimmy went with it, guiding the
big guy to his feet and into a front face lock. Then LJ pounded a fist into the kid's gut, and he fell to his
knees, while the big cruiser straightened
up.
After
clearing his head, LJ pulled Jimmy up and tossed him into the ropes. Jimmy ducked a clothesline on
his way back, but ran face-first into
LJ's size 14 wrestling boot when he came off the ropes a second time. LJ dropped and covered the kid. George only got
to 2. He pulled Jimmy back up and walked
him by a handful of hair to the heel corner. LJ made the tag, and Biff stepped into the ring, delivering a powerhouse
punch to the kid's held-open side before
LJ stepped out. Biff beamed at the audience, and then looked down at the freshman holding his side on the mat at
his feet.
Biff
pulled Jimmy up and propped him in the corner, where the heavy rammed his shoulder into the jobber's gut five times. He
didn't let Jimmy fall to the mat afterward, but rather threw him over his
shoulder, only to run and slam him in the
center of the ring. Jimmy was so winded, he barely knew what was going on. He was too late to dodge one massive leg drop
across his thin chest, but moved out of
the way before the second, and scrambled for his corner.
When
he got there, Ty looked at him like, "and I can do better?" but made
the tag anyway and stepped into the
ring. Biff was ready. He motioned for Ty to bring it on, and Ty tried, diving through the heavy's legs,
and reaching back to take out a knee.
But Biff was too fast, and when Ty turned over to kick at the heavy's knees, the heavy easily grabbed his ankles and
whipped him up several feet, and then back to the mat. Ty's back exploded with
pain. Biff was pleased with himself, and
he let the audience know about it.
When
the heavy returned to Ty, he was on his stomach, foundering in the center of the mat. Biff stomped him right in the
middle of the back, and then yanked him
to his feet. Tyler tried in vain to push away as Biff lifted him for a slam and slammed him upside- down in the
heels' corner, tying him into a tree of
woe. There, Ty was stomped, kicked, kneed and dropkicked, all before Biff tagged in LJ.
Together,
they destroyed the kid's gut with stomps in the seconds before George hassled Biff out to the
apron. LJ didn't move Ty, though. He
went to the middle of the ring, turned and ran, dropkicking poor Ty in the stomach. The force of the blow knocked
Ty free, and he lay moaning in a heap in
the heels' corner as LJ reached down to pull him back up. LJ guided Ty to the center of the ring and gorilla-pressed
him there, holding the jobber up like a
trophy for the crowd. Then he dropped to one knee, and let Ty drop onto his other knee, screaming as his back bent
across LJ's limb. Again, LJ pulled the
jobber up. He tossed him in the ropes and bent over for a back-body drop. Ty was just aware enough to kick LJ in the
face, and then he dove toward his own
corner.
LJ
reeled back against the ropes, and grabbed the leg of Ty's singlet as the teen's hand slapped his partner's. Jimmy
stepped through with a stomp to LJ's head, sending the dazed cruiser sprawling
on the mat. Jimmy leapt to the second turnbuckle,
and dropped an elbow on the back of LJ's head. Then he bounced off the ropes LJ had fallen by and brought his
shins down on the big guy's back. He
dragged LJ to his feet and threw him at the ropes. When LJ returned, Jimmy performed
a beautiful dropkick, which unfortunately LJ swatted away. Jimmy belly-flopped on the mat, and writhed after LJ
slammed his shins down on his back. LJ
got up and Jimmy curled up, only to be yanked to his feet seconds later and thrown at the ropes. He returned to
be sidewalk slammed and almost pinned
before Ty interfered. Afterward, though, it got no better.
LJ
pulled Jimmy up, crotch-lifted him from behind, and viciously gut busted him five times in a row, using two hand fulls of
singlet to lift the boy up and slam him
back over LJ's knee over and over again. Jimmy again tried to ball up, only to be pulled to his feet and again
lifted from behind. This time, LJ slammed
him, front-first, on the mat. LJ dropped an elbow on his lower back, and then leaned back against the kid. He
wrapped one of his long arms around the
kid's neck, squeezing his chin in a sleeper. His other arm, he wrapped around Jimmy's knees. Then LJ stood up,
holding Jimmy suspended across his back,
and bending the jobber further and further around himself. Now Jimmy wanted to say yes George when he offered
submission, but he knew the longer he went,
the more money he would get. And he didn't want to let Ty down. So, he endured.
LJ jumped and shook him, and squeezed and stretched him. Jimmy's stomach felt it would rip.
Finally,
LJ tired of working on the kid. He kept Jimmy in the hold, and tagged Biff with the hand reaching down around the
kid's thighs. Biff stepped into the
ring, and behind LJ. The cruiser held the kid for eight more seconds, while Biff pounded his fist into the jobber's
unprotected gut, before George finally
got LJ to drop him. When Biff got to Jimmy one-on-one, the jobber was utterly
at his mercy. While George was watching the heels' corner, where Jimmy would be trapped for too long, he failed to
notice Harry appear behind Ty and yank him off the apron.
The
dirty heel slugged it out with Ty for a minute before kicking him in the nuts. Ty doubled
over, right into position for a pedigree
onto the floor from Harry, who got right up and pulled Ty right back up with
him. He whipped the boy into the ring support pole, and then rubbed his nasty crotch and ass on Ty's face
until George finally saw him and he left
the lightweight half-conscious on the floor.
Inside
the ring, Jimmy was suffering. Biff was beating him up in the corner, with shoulder blocks and punches and stomps
and kicks. He pulled Jimmy out of the
corner several times, only to spin him right back into it, usually followed by a vicious clothesline. Then George
noticed Harry, and LJ wrapped an arm
around Jimmy's neck, holding him choked in place while Biff was able to mercilessly
pound the lean wrestler's chest and gut.
When
George turned back around, LJ let go and
the boy fell face-first to the mat, looking like he was about to be sick. Biff dragged him by an arm
to the middle of the ring, where he
mocked him for the audience, who booed back at the heel. Jimmy hoped it would end soon, or that he could tag. Then
Biff pulled him up and whipped him into the heels' corner, where his face again
collided with LJ's huge boot. Pulled up
again, Jimmy was lifted into a bearhug by Biff. He screamed, as the bodybuilder's
massive arms crushed his waist and rent his back. Jimmy looked like a rag doll as Biff shook him around,
slamming his head into turnbuckles and
again into LJ's boot. After moments, the jobber was totally limp. George lifted his arm. Once, it fell, Twice, it fell.
Before Jimmy's arm could fall a third time, Biff dropped him.
The
heavy pushed the jobber face-down and planted a knee on his upper back. He grabbed one of Jimmy's arms and began twisting
and bending it back with one hand. With
the other, he began punching the twisted, stretched arm. Jimmy was screaming, and George was right there, ready
to end the jobber's misery. Yet Jimmy
held on, even as Biff bent his arm all the way across his back. He screamed and moaned, but did not submit.
Finally, Biff gave up. He signaled something
to LJ, who began to climb the turnbuckles. After tagging his partner, Biff
planted the lightweight's head between his legs, swung him up by his waist and power bombed him to the mat.
Everyone wondered as LJ waited. Then, again,
Biff lifted and power bombed the jobber. Finally, he pulled Jimmy up and held his hurt arm out, presenting it to LJ,
who brought his elbow slamming down onto
Jimmy's shoulder. Jimmy screamed and collapsed to the mat. He was barely
conscious as LJ performed an unnecessary powerbomb of his own and then rolled him up for an easy 1-2-3.
Ty
and Jimmy each earned 15 minutes of TIR. LJ earned forty-five and Biff earned 30 minutes of TIR. After LJ and Biff
had returned to the locker room, Ty
crawled into the ring to help Jimmy to his feet. They rolled out to the floor and were walking toward the back when
Harry shot out from the locker room and
double-clotheslined them both.
The
audience ate it up, booing wildly as
Harry again piledrove Ty to the floor, and then dragged poor Jimmy back to the
ring and rolled him in. The destroyed jobber lay helpless on the mat as Harry grandstanded, pointing at Jimmy
and yelling at the audience about how
pathetic he was. Then he pulled the kid up, and crotch- lifted him, holding Jimmy's recently pounded arm behind
his back. The audience screamed for Harry to show the kid mercy, but Jimmy got
none, and his arm was slammed to the mat
under he and Harry. The rookie screamed when he hit the mat, but Harry wasn't quite done.
He
pulled the kid up to his knees and planted Jimmy's face in his crotch as he screamed at the audience,
"THIS IS WHAT JOBBERS DO!" Jimmy tried to push away from the cruiserweight, but
he was too weak from the match to do
anything but struggle to breathe through Harry's nasty package. Finally, with a casual shove back to the mat from
Harry, the boy's humiliation ended.
Dane vs. "Gorgeous"
George
George began the next match by handing off
his ref duties.
"As I will be participating in these
last two matches, may I first introduce the referee for them, `Buff'
Biff!" The audience applauded as Biff came back out, now wearing a ref's
shirt, and took the mike from George.
"Thanks, gorgeous," he began.
"The challenger in this thirty-minute match, weighing 208 pounds, is
DANE!" Dane came back out to strong applause. Biff continued, "He
will face off against two opponents, the first of whom is already in the ring.
Weighing 338 pounds, `Gorgeous' George!.... and, from the cruiserweight
division, weighing 241 pounds, `Dirty' HARRY!" Harry came back out to boos
and jeers, which he smiled at while taunting the audience. He joined George in
the ring as Dane approached Biff.
"Dane would like to request that this
be an Ironman match, and that you two must switch off after each fall,
regardless of which team got the fall. Do you accept this stipulation?"
After a moment's discussion, George
replied, "yes," for he and Harry.
The bell rang. Harry stepped out of the
ring to let George start. Dane, an excellent amateur wrestler but still too new
to pro wrestling, dove for George's leg to try for a takedown. George was
pushed back a bit, but then jumped a little bit, and brought his huge gut
slamming down across the back of Dane's head and his upper back. George leaned
back and Dane started to get to his knees. George moved quick, and pulled Dane
into a headlock. The cruiser managed to push George off into the ropes, but was
easily deflected when he attempted a body block on the heavy's rebound. Dane
pulled himself up, and circled again with George. This time when he approached,
the heavy lunged at him, clotheslining him to the mat. Before George could
connect with his elbow, though, Dane rolled away. George soon had to get up
while being kicked in the gut and side. He did, though, and when Dane got to
close, George tripped him into the corner and followed quickly, slamming the
rookie's chest into the turnbuckle.
Dane pushed and fought, but George was too
strong plus too big, and he stayed in the corner. He turned to face Dane, and
pulled himself by the top rope into him. Now Dane wasn't fighting so much.
George slammed himself into Dane one more time, and then arm dragged him to the
mat. A leg drop from the heavy made Dane jerk on the canvas, and then George
pulled him back up. He Irish whipped him into the heels' corner, where Harry
was waiting to wrap an arm around his neck. Biff tried complaining about the
choke and barely got out of the way before George's full 338 pounds squashed
Dane into the corner. The heavy moved, and Dane fell straight out from the
corner. After adjusting Dane a little and pushing his arms to his sides, George
got up on the second rope, and jumped, slamming his ass down onto Dane's chest.
Biff counted 1-2- Dane tried to lift a shoulder, but couldn't lift a thing - 3.
George wasn't even up yet before Harry was
already in the ring. Biff said to wait, but Harry insisted the stipulation had
included no rest after falls. George concurred, and the two pulled Dane to his
feet. Together, they double-suplexed him, and George hit an off-the-ropes splash
before leaving the ring. Harry had Dane just how he wanted him - already
beaten.
The smelly one measured Dane and then
slammed a knee down on the top of his head. The wrestler groaned and rolled onto
his stomach, holding his head. Harry bounced off the ropes and dropped a leg
across the back of his head. Dane was pretty limp as Harry pulled him up, and
planted his head between his legs. Harry lifted Dane for the piledriver, but
the jobber kicked his legs so hard so suddenly that his feet were soon back on
the mat. Again, Harry tried, but again Dane kicked and jerked till he was back
on his feet. Then he back-body dropped Harry, as the crowd went nuts.
Dane leaned against the ropes, collecting
himself as Harry arched up on the mat his back had just smacked. All too soon
Harry was back up, though, and Dane hoped he was ready. When Harry got close,
Dane chopped him in the chest. Harry staggered back. Chop. Further back. Chop.
As Harry practically fell on his ass, Dane grabbed his wrist and threw him into
the ropes. The audience went nuts as he greeted Harry's rebound with an arm
drag into a vicious armbar on the mat. Harry struggled to get away, but Dane
got right down on him and worked the arm back as far as he could. Harry's other
hand beat the mat as he cried out in pain and finally submitted to the arm bar.
Dane let go of the arm and started to get
up, when -BAM- George slammed an elbow down onto his head. George had been
about to interrupt the submission, but figured he may as well get right to the
next fall. As Harry rolled out of the ring, George slammed another elbow down
on the top of Dane's head. The cruiserweight was dazed on the mat, a few feet
from a corner.
George kicked him in the gut, hard enough
that he bounced into the corner. The heavy planted a foot on Dane's throat and pushed
his head back past the turnbuckles. It took fifteen seconds of no air for Dane
before Biff got George off. George didn't go far, though, turning around and
slamming his girth right back down on the rookie's chest.
After gloating a bit, working his crowd and
enjoying the fact of this fed being his, George pulled Dane out of the corner
and started to whip him into the opposite corner. Dane reversed, delighting the
crowd, and sent George hard into the turnbuckles. Dane followed, attempting a shoulder
block, but got a shoulder full of steel for his effort. Now George really
gloated. He grabbed a handful of Dane's singlet and pulled him out from between
the turnbuckles. He lifted the rookie, walked him to the middle of the ring,
and powerslammed him there. George got up and Dane heaved to get air into his
lungs. It soon left again, as George splashed down across him.
The heavy hooked a leg to pin him, but Dane
barely managed to kick out from under George at 2. So, George pulled him back
up, and locked him in a low bearhug, holding Dane up off the mat and squeezing
for all he was worth. Dane slowly wilted in the bearhug, his struggles
decreasing and his head beginning to loll. Then, the audience began chanting,
"DANE, DANE, DANE," and he began to perk back up. He slammed his arms
around George's head. No effect. Again! No effect. Again! The effect of Dane's
third attempt to stun George was the heavy leaping and squashing Dane to the
mat beneath him.
George got up and dropped right back down
with a leg drop across the rookie's face. Stunned, Dane could do little as he
was dragged to his feet and thrown again into the heels' corner. Again, Harry
held him helpless while George charged. Dane was crushed again, and held to be crushed
yet again before George made the tag.
Harry came in and pulled Dane out of the
corner, arm dragging him to the center of the mat. Harry got up on the second
turnbuckle and dove, headbutting the rookie with a resounding thud. Dane, holding
his head and moaning, went rolling across the mat and accidentally rolled out
of the ring. Harry tried to follow, but Biff stopped him. Biff didn't even see George
drop off the apron. He pulled the winded, dazed rookie to his feet, only to
lift and powerslam him back to the floor. Again, he pulled Dane to his feet,
while Harry worked double hard to make the ref work hard to keep him back.
George grabbed his opponent by the back of the neck, and drove his head into
the apron three times before Dane collapsed, falling out of the heavy's hand.
Yet George pulled Dane up for more. He delivered yet another huge powerslam before
rolling the wrestler into the ring.
Harry pointed, and seeing that Dane had
gotten back in, Biff let the smelly one pull Dane right to his feet and whip
him into a corner. Dane's head was knocked back as Harry followed with a
vicious clothesline. Dane just leaned in the corner, totally winded, as Harry backed
up and dove in again, this time slamming his armpit onto Dane's face in a Stink
Bomb. He held the lighter man's head there until Dane fell to his knees to get
out of it. Then Harry pulled Dane back out of the corner, up to his feet, and DDTed
him in the middle of the ring.
After a quick leg drop, Harry pulled Dane
back up and planted his head between his legs. This time, Dane was already too dazed
to resist as he was lifted and then his head piledriven to the mat. Harry got
up, and pulled Dane back up. He turned Dane upside- down, facing him, and
planted the rookie's face in his sweaty, disgusting crotch. There he held Dane
for over a minute, suffocating him, before he walked him over to George and
tagged the big man in. In the center of the ring, George wrapped his arms
around them both, and squeezed, crushing Dane and pushing his face even harder
into the dirty one's groin. Then they both dropped to their knees, double- tombstoning
Dane to the mat.
They got up, and Dane was out of it on the
mat. Harry went for his gross signature pin, but Biff reminded them George was
the legal man. So, George bounced off the ropes and vertical splashed onto the rookie's
chest, sitting there while another pin was counted for him.
Then he left and Harry took his turn. He
got Dane back into tombstone position, but crotched his face for only thirty
seconds before again driving his head to the mat. Dane flopped to the mat, and
Harry got to grab his legs and sit on his face for another pin. Afterward, he rubbed
his ass all over the poor wrestler's face before leaving the ring again.
Dane, too dazed to do anything but bear the
humiliation and the funk, wondered how he would ever get the upper hand again when
they were so non-stop in their attacks. Before he even completed that thought,
as soon as Harry got up, George yanked Dane to his feet by a handful of
singlet. The heavy crotch-lifted Dane and took off, ramming his lower back into
a top turnbuckle. He held on to the rookie, running and ramming his lower back
into the opposite top turnbuckle. Then, still holding Dane, George stepped back
up onto the second turnbuckle and jumped, powerslamming Dane back to the mat.
George got up and, after pointing out how
weak Dane was to those in the audience who liked him, then splashed down across
the rookie's chest and face. Next George grabbed Dane's ankles, and turned the cruiserweight
over into a Boston crab. Dane wailed as George's girth stretched his feet back
toward his head, and as his aching abs were stretched beyond pain. Biff was
there right away, offering the chance to submit. Dane shook his head. He
managed to push up, but with one good crank back, the heavy had driven his
chest back to the mat. He fought the urge to give in, told himself he could pin
that weasel Harry one more time. He lost the fight, though. As George's butt started
to settle down on Dane's upper back, the cruiserweight screamed his submission.
Dane's back was still on fire when Harry
dropped a knee into it. Then he braced himself on Dane's back and drove it in a
few more times. Dane was moaning when Harry pulled him to his feet. The dirty
one planted Dane's face in his pit again, rubbing it in before planting it
there in a reverse front face lock. There he held Dane, who struggled to get
out but was stuck. Harry dropped to one knee, and planted his other knee
between Dane's shoulders. The pro rookie held on for a minute, and then managed
to twist out.
Harry dropped a knee to the head. Then he
rammed Dane's head into George's out-stretched foot. Then he again bulldogged
Dane to the mat. A cover ended in a kickout, and then Harry pulled Dane back
up. He whipped Dane into a corner and followed with a vicious shoulder block.
Then he began stomping Dane in the gut, til he was on the ground, leaning
against the bottom turnbuckle. After one more vicious stomp to the head, Harry
went to the opposite corner, turned back and took off, his ass slamming down
onto and bouncing on Dane's chest as he Bronco Bustered him in the corner.
Harry tagged and George came back in.
George also bronco bustered Dane, who was crushed in the corner by the behemoth
as he did so. Then George, after glancing at the clock, pulled Dane out from
the corner and went to the second turnbuckle for one more vertical splash and
pin as the match's thirty minutes ran out.
When George pulled himself off of Dane,
Harry got right in the cruiserweight's face, slapping his face around a bit
before starting to pull him to the middle of the ring. Of this, George did not approve,
and pulled Harry off. Those closest to the ring heard the owner admonish Harry,
"we do not hurt the already beaten... respect your opponents."
George helped Dane to his feet and back to
the locker room, while Harry begrudgingly caused no more pain for his rival
cruiserweight before returning, himself, to the locker room.
Dane earned an hour and fifteen minutes of
TIR for the time plus his one submission from Harry. Harry got a half hour, for
his pin minus the time. And George got four hours, for his three pins and one submission,
minus the time.
