A Different Revenge:

Tim and Jake Fight it Out

By

The Mangler

“Look, I know that you feel cheated and abused and you want your revenge.  Goodness knows you are good at that.  But Jake isn’t one of our wrestlers, he is a referee.  Why don’t you just talk it out and get over it,” the commissioner asked.

“Because that devious asshole will not talk to me.  Or at least he will not tell me why,” is Tim’s reply.

The commissioner’s face doesn’t betray any emotions as he looks at Tim.  But he is thinking, “That is because I told him I would fire his ass if he told you what happened. The more drama around this place the better.”

Out loud he says, “Well, I’m sure your tag partner, Choirboy, can fill you in on what happened.  After all, their ‘interaction’ within the ring was pretty err, well intense, not to mention intimate.”

“Yeah, well all he will tell me is that his private life is his private life and it doesn’t have anything to do with me.  Besides, we’ve only tagged that one time so far.  As for Jake not being a wrestler, I know that he has had some training and did wrestle for a while.  He just gave it up for refereeing, while I continued to do both.  Anyway, all you really care about is ticket sells and money.  And I can guarantee you that you can make lots of both if you give me a chance to kick that disloyal son-of-a-bitches ass.”

“Well, it would sell out I would think.  I’m going to have to talk with Jake and get his take on the matter.  Plus, god knows who I could get to ref this.  I’m not sure any of our regular refs would agree for fear of pissing one of you off or being accused of being unfair,” the commissioner said with a straight face.

Laughing out loud with a deep and prolonged laugh Tim replies, “Yeah right.  Jason would probably love it. And then depending on how you wanted the match to go, you could find the right ref.”

“Are you suggesting that I am biased against one of you?”

“Not at all!  You are biased against EVERYBODY.  You would just need to figure out what would give you the greatest prolonged buzz.  But if you really want an unbiased ref, get Alex to do it.”

“You think he would be unbiased after what he did to you??”

Blushing a little Tim replies.  “Look, he is a dick.  But maybe, just maybe, he had reason to do what he did.  He took it too far, but then at the Redneck Arena that is standard operating procedure.  So even if he doesn’t like me, he would still be an unbiased ref.”

“Okay, let me think about it and see what the others might think.”

The following day, Jake enters the office to see what’s up now.  After some of his recent refereeing assignments, he isn’t sure if the commissioner is happy with him or not.

“Jake, Tim came in and asked me to arrange a match between the two of you so you can sort this thing out,” the commissioner began.

“If you would just let me tell him what happened we could sort this out easily.”

“But you can’t prove what you’ve told me. Choirboy denies it, and I won’t have the integrity of my company besmirched by lies and innuendo.”

“It isn’t a lie,” Jake yells.  “That SOB set me up and then humiliated me.  My damned wife finally left me because of that.”

“Now calm down.  If you keep up this non-sense, I’m going to have to let you go.” As he says this, the commissioner just smirks.  For he has told Jake that if he lets him go, he will make sure no one hires him to ref.

Calming himself down, Jake says, “Yeah whatever.  Look just set up the damned match.  That way we can get this over with.  And then maybe you can set up a match with the Choirboy so I can get my revenge on him.”

The commissioner just laughs.  “Choirboy would eat you alive.  There would be no way in hell you could get revenge on him.”

“Whatever.  Who are you going to get to ref?”

“Well, Tim had a suggestion that might work.”

“Ooooh, I can imagine he suggested, well, let me see, Jason -no that wouldn’t work.  I know he suggested Choirboy, right?  And there is no DAMNED way in hell, I’m going to let him be my ref.”

The commissioner actually laughs at this, for Jake has just given him the most delicious idea.  “No, actually he suggested Alex.”

“Okay, after that debacle of a tag team match, that just might work.  I’ll agree, but I want to see the contract well before hand.”

“Oh, don’t worry, the contract will be to everyone’s liking.”   As he says this, his is thinking ‘especially mine.’

The match day finally arrives.  Contract negotiations were intense and prolonged, which was to the commissioner’s advantage as he was able to make sure the contract was good for the league and the Redneck Arena, just maybe not so good for the wrestlers.

The standard contract is being used except for a few alterations.  One of the standard points which had not been altered was the substitution of referee clause in case the agreed upon ref wasn’t available on the day of the match.  This clause gives the commissioner the right to assign a ref.

And surprise, surprise on the day of the event Alex is not available.  Of course, he is not available because the league never contacted him.  But neither of the wrestlers needed to know that.  At least not now.

The few alterations to the contract were just to try and ease Jake’s mind that this was an up and up fight.  One of the alterations concerns the fact that Alex (referred to in the contract as “the referee”) has absolute and final say over how the match is run.  A clause was added to the definitions section that defines referee as “the person wearing the stripped shirt.”  Nobody has objected to this as it was fairly harmless – at least everyone but the commissioner thought so.

In preparation for the fight, Jake had intensified his training and updated his wrestling repertoire.  His trainer thought that he had a good change to at least look respectful.  And that is all that Jake really cared about.  He knew that he was probably going to lose the match, but he didn’t want to make Tim think it was a foregone conclusion.  He was hoping that if Tim got his anger and frustration out, that they could work on restoring their friendship.

Jake It finishing getting dressed when the commissioner walks into the locker room.

“Jake, I’m afraid that Alex can’t make it.  Some family emergency has come up so I have gotten another referee. Don’t worry it is an independent referee not from our roster.”

“Fine.  At this point, I just want to get this over with.  Tim needs to learn a little lesson,” is what he says.  But what he is thinking is, “Or at least get his frustration and anger out.”

Mumbling to himself as he leaves the locker room, the commissioner says, “Oh a lesson will be learned tonight.”

Tim likewise had no problem with a referee substitution.

Both Tim and Jake had agreed to enter the ring before the ref, as he was running a little late and the crowd was getting antsy.  By getting them into the ring beforehand, they could help calm the crowd down.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to tonight’s main event, a grudge match, where two referees try to settle their differences in the ring.”  With that announcement the crowd went crazy.  While matches in the Redneck Arena ran from wild to out of control wild, that was what the crowds wanted to see.  And a good revenge match was always welcome.

“Entering the ring is our first contestant.  He stands 5’ 11” tall and weighs in at 180 pounds.  He screwed over his opponent while refereeing one of his matches, and celebrated his defeat by giving the opposing wrestler one hell of a reward the end of the match.  Here is Jaaaake.”

Jake runs into the covered walkway leading to the ring.  He is dressed in black trunks, new pads and wrestling boots.  He is met with a large number of jeers and boos.  He is actually a good ref, but fans in the redneck arena are nothing is not fickle.  He recently refereed another revenge match and had gotten attacked after it was over.  He is muscular but not in a cut fashion.  His chest and abs are shaved. He runs to the ring, slides under the bottom rope and goes to his corner.  He does his best to ignore the crowd.

“And his opponent, seeking revenge for his betrayal, standing 6’1” and weighing in at 215 lbs is Tiiimmm.”  The curtain parts and Tim slowly wanders down the covered walkway.  He is wearing red trunks, red knee pads and a pair of red and black wrestling shoes.  He is muscular, defined, and hairy.  Sometimes he shaves and sometimes not.  Tonight, he is not shaven.

As he walks to the ring, to the cheering of the crowd, he keeps his eyes locked on Jake with a death stare.  Jake had been the ref in his first match in the league against the choirboy.  Although they were close friends, Jake had obviously been helping the Choirboy win the match.  After the match was over, which the choirboy had won, Jake had given the choirboy an in-ring blow job.  It was a betrayal that Jake had never explained.

Once he reaches the ring apron, he hopes up and through the ring ropes never taking his eyes off Jake.

“You’re going down tonight asshole,” he yells at Jake.

“Give it your best shot moron,” is the reply.

“And now the referee for tonight is scheduled to be Alex.”  A loud cheer goes up from the crowd as Alex is becoming a popular ref.  “However, due to family emergencies he is not able to make it.  Therefore, the referee for tonight is ……..The Choirboy!!.”

Upon hearing this, the crowd goes absolutely nuts as choirboy was Tim’s opponent in the match that Jake betrayed him.  Now Tim and Choirboy were starting to work as a tagteam.  When the choirboy was announced, Tim got a large smile across his face.

The reaction from Jake was the polar opposite.  “Oh, hell fucking NO.  This is not going to happen,” he screams as he drops to the arena floor and heads towards the cage surrounding the ring.  He is aiming right for the commissioner.

“What the hell is this bullshit?  There is no way I’m wrestling with that jerk as the ref.”

The commissioner just smiles.  “The contract gives me the right to choose a replacement ref.  He is the only one available so he is refereeing.  Don’t worry, I’m sure he will be fair.”

“But I agreed to a fair ref and one who is not employed by the Redneck Arena,” is Jakes’ reply.

“Oh, we don’t employ him.  He is just a guest referee.  And if you don’t want to wrestle that is fine, but then you get suspended, without pay for at least one month.”  And then with obvious glee in his voice he adds “and I’m not lifting the suspension until THIS match occurs.”

“Goddamn you to hell,” Jake screams as he turns and heads back toward the ring.

While Jake is yelling at the commissioner, the choirboy enters the ring.  He stands at 5”11” inches and weighs in at 180 pounds.  He looks to be about 16 years old. He is wearing the stripped referee’s shirt, a pair of tight white wrestling trunks, white kneepads and white wrestling boots.  In other words, he looks like a choirboy.  But as many opponents will attest, he is anything but.  He has no limits when it comes to wrestling.

After entering the ring, he goes over to Tim and give him a big hug.  “Don’t worry dude, I got your back.”

Tim just laughs and says “This should be fun.  I guess it’s open season.”

“Whoa dude.  Remember I take my refereeing seriously and I will enforce the rules.  But even then, you should be able to take this jerk.”

By this time Jake is back in the ring.  The choirboy walks over to him.

“Hiya Jake, ready to wrestle – or suck or whatever it is that you do.” He extends his hand to shake.

“Fuck you jackass,” is the only reply.  He ignores the outstretched hand.

“Temper, temper dude.  Listen, I know what this looks like, but when I ref, I take my job seriously.  There is no ill intent here.  I’ll call it straight down the line,” Choirboy promises.

“Yeah, just like there was no ill intent the last time.”

“Oh no, there was definitely ill intent last time.  But for both of you, so don’t get your panties in a wad.  This time I intend to be a fair ref, unlike you were.”

“Fuck you asshole, let’s just get this façade of a match under way.”

“Well let me check you for foreign bodies first.”  Choirboy then does just that.  When he gets to Jake’s crotch, he checks the cock and balls closely and even gives a little squeeze.  “Nothing extra in there tonight I see.  Maybe afterwards I can use that mouth of yours again.”

Jake slaps choirboys’ hands away.  Choirboy just laughs.  Jake now has a serious case of butterflies.  He knows that this isn’t going to end well.

Choirboy then signals for the bell and the match is on.

Dropping down to his feet, Tim grabs the middle ropes and begins to propel his shoulders full force into Jake’s midsection.  By the time Choirboy makes it to the corner and begins his count, Tim has delivered 10 such blows. After the 10th blow, and on the refs count of four, Tim steps back.

Jake just hangs in the corner trying desperately to get some air back into his lungs. Tim isn’t interested in allowing that to happen and delivers a powerful kick between the legs and into Jake’s balls.  With this final indignity, Jake bends over and his hands go to his crotch.

As Jake bends over, Tim locks on a reverse side headlock and DDTs Jake to the mat.  This has all happened so quickly that Jake is on the mat, before Choirboy has a change to berate Tim for the low blow.

“Hey, watch the fucking low blows.  Keep it clean.”

“I thought you were going to watch me kick the shit out of this dude,” Tim demands.

“Go for it man, but keep it legal.”

Tim just stares at the ref and his new tagteam partner.  Obviously, he is still trying to figure the dude out.  He thought he was going to have free reign with Jake, but maybe not.  Or maybe Choirboy was just putting on a good front. Only time would tell.

Tim walks over to a prone jake and delivers a leg drop across the upper back.  He then stands and begins a series of stomps to the right shoulder and bicep.  After several stomps, Jake roles to his back and starts to sit up.  Tim waits until jake is sitting and the delivers a kick to the back of the head. He then drops down to the mat, grabs both of Jake’s arms and pulls them backwards while placing his lower leg and knee in the back.  He is now stretching Jake backward.

“Do you want to submit now, “Choirboy asks.

“Fuck off ashhole,” is Jake’s only reply.

Choirboy steps back and winks at Tim.  Although Jake tries to shake off the hold, he isn’t able to for a couple of minutes.  He finally just takes a deep breath and flings himself to the left.  This wrenches his left shoulder, but manages to topple him and Tim to the mat, forcing Tim to release the hold.  Jake no sooner rises to his feet than Tim grabs the left wrist and twists into an armbar.  He then steps forces Jake to bend over, steps over the arm and then slams his butt down into Jakes shoulder forcing him to the mat.

Tim stands up, stands on the left wrist and begins delivering a series of stomps into the left shoulder.  Tiring of this, the kneels down, places his left hand on the forearm, his right hand onto the back and then raises up and delivers a knee into the shoulder.  He repeats this four more times before stopping and standing up.

As soon as his left arm is released, Jake rolls over and pulls his left arm to his side and grabs his left shoulder with his right hand.  He rocks back and forth on the mat.

Tim just laughs and points at his downed foe.

Tim pulls jake to his feet and then lifts him in preparation for a bodyslam.  He makes sure to place the left arm across the back and then slams Jake to the mat with all his bodyweight slamming down onto his left shoulder.  He repeats this maneuver two more times.  On the third time, instead of a straight bodyslam, he delivers a power bomb dropping both Jake’s weight and his own down onto the shoulder.  He stands and laughs at an obviously hurting Jake.

Tim struts around the ring playing for the crowd.  He turns back toward Jake and begins to walk across the ring.  As he nears, Jake suddenly lashes out with his right leg, slamming his foot into Tim’s right knee.  Due to fortunate Timing, he does it such that it forces Tim down and causes him to slam in knee into the mat in an uncontrolled fashion.  The pain shoots up his leg.  Jake manages to regain his feet and delivers a spinning round kick to the back of Tim’s head, forcing his down onto the mat face first.  Jake doesn’t let up at all and begins a serious of stomps to the back and shoulders of Tim.

Tim finally manages to roll out of the ring and onto the apron.  Jake thinks about following him out, but instead back up.  He needs to give his shoulder some time, before he tries to follow up on his advantage.

Choirboy begins what is probably one of the slowest ten counts in wrestling history.   However, far from minding, Jake is enjoying the down time as he flexes his arm and shoulder.  Just at Tim stands up and grabs the bottom rope in preparation for pulling himself back into the ring, Jake runs across the ring and baseball slides under the bottom rope and slams his feet full force into Tim’s upper chest and lower jaw.  Tim flies back across the open space and slams into the fence surrounding the ring.

“Hey keep this in the ring,” Choirboy shouts as he heads toward the ropes.

Jake shoots him the bird and then slides on out of the ring.  Tim is holding onto the fence for support and is standing with his back almost flat against the fending, when Jake slams a shoulder block into him full force.  Jake reaches out and grabs the fence on either side and slams three more should blocks into Tim’s midsection eliciting a grunt each time.

Choirboy finally arrives at the scene and begins yelling at Jake.  “Break this shit up and get back into the ring.”

Jake stands back after the last blow and Tim slumps to the arena floor.  Jake reaches down to grab Tim, but the choirboy grabs his arm and pulls back.

Jake jerks his arm away from the choirboy and steps toward him.  “Keep you fucking hands off my asshole.  Don’t interfere in my match.  Just do your job and start your damned count.  I’ll make sure we are back in the ring before 10.”

“I am doing my job asshole.  Move back into the ring,” Choirboy screams.

While this interaction is going on, Tim senses his chance and begins to raise up. However, Jake isn’t as stupid as that.  He has been watching Tim from the side while arguing with the ref.  Seeing him start to rise up, Jake slams a foot into Tim’s abs, slamming him back into the fencing again.

He reaches down, grabs Tim by the hair and pulls him up.  He charges him across the open space and slams his head into the ring apron.  Choirboy has started his count by this time.  After slamming Tim into the apron, he charges down he ring and slams him into the ring post.  He tosses a stunned Tim under the ropes and back into the ring where he lays on his back.

As the choirboy slides back into the ring, Jake climbs onto the apron and then climbs to the top rope and jumps off to slam into Tim laying on the mat.  Tim, however, has other ideas and pulls his legs up causing Jake to land abdominals first into his outstretched knees.  Jakes bounces off the knees and lands on the mat, winded and huffing and puffing for air.  Both wrestlers are now down and winded.

Choirboy begins the ten count, hoping that Tim can get up in time.  While he may be trying to be fair, he also has a preference in who wins.

Tim manages to reach his feet at a count of six, but then so does Jake.  Jake appears to be more alert.  Jake and Tim cautiously approach each other before reaching for a collar and elbow.  Just as they are about to connect, Tim lashes out with his right foot, slamming it up into the lower abdomen of Jake.  Jake grunts and slightly bends over.

Tim quickly circles around Jake and grabs him in a full nelson and pulls him upright and then continues backward, slamming Jake down onto the mat on his shoulders and head.  He releases the full nelson just as Jake slams down onto the mat.  Tim rolls to his hand and knees, approaches time and quickly locks on a sitting arm bar, cranking up the pressure on the previously worked over left shoulder.  Jake screams in pain.  Both Tim and Choirboy smile with glee.

Jake manages to slowly work his way to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope.

“Okay, Tim, he’s on the rope so break,” Choirboy says.

“What his arm?”  Tim asks.

“Well whatever, but preferably the hold,” Choirboy smirks.

Tim releases the armbar and rolls away before standing up.  Jake pulls himself to a kneeling position facing into the ring.  As Tim walks over, Jake launches himself from a kneeling position, driving his head into the lower abs.  Tim doubles over the top of Jake before staggering back.  Once his head is directly over Jake’s head, Jake snaps his head upward driving the back of his head into Tim’s lower jaw causing it to slam into his upper jaw and snapping Tim’s head backward.  At the same time, Jakes grabs both of Tim’s legs and yanks them forward and upward.  Tim falls back to the match, slamming his head.

Jake then crawls up on Tim’s torso and begins delivering a series of fists to the head.

“NO closed fists,” Choirboy screams as he begins to berate Jake and also starts counting.  Jake doesn’t stop until Choirboy is almost at five.  Jake stops and slides off Tim at the count of five. He retreats to a neutral corner flexing his arm and trying to work out the kinks.   Although he knows that this give Tim some time to recover, he needs the break.

After quickly checking on Tim, Choirboy heads toward Jake screaming.  “Hey asswipe, you need to follow the rules.”

“I am following the fucking rules.”

“Fists are not part of the rules,” Choirboy replies.

“Until the count of five they are, unless your afraid your boyfriend here can’t handle it.”

“Look asshole,” Choirboy begins.

Jake suddenly darts around Choirboy and delivers a knee to the head of Tim who is slowly trying to stand up.  The knee sends him crashing back down to the mat, but he is able to roll under the ring ropes to the floor.

Jake just looks at him as he hits the arena floor. Turning toward choirboy he shouts “Why don’t you stop worrying about what I’m doing and do your job.  He is outside the ring so start counting.  Or do I need to teach you how to count.”

Choirboy bites back the retort that he was going to make and begins with a slow ten count.  Jake just watches.  Tim finally manages to pull himself back up onto the ring apron.  Just as he stands upright, he sees Jake charging across the ring toward him.  Summoning his strength, he leaps up to the top rope and then springs into the ring, slamming into a charging Jake driving both wrestlers down to the mat.  Naturally, Tim lands on top with the force of his and Jake’s weight driving the air from Jake’s lungs.

Tim stands, grabs Jake’s right leg and jumps pulling the leg over Jake’s head stretching out the muscles of the thigh.  He does this maneuver twice more.  He grabs the right ankle, lifts the leg in the air, and begins with a series of stomps into the right upper thigh near where it joins into the groin.  On the last stomp, he slams is foot into the groin of Jake eliciting an even greater scream.  Tim drops the ankle.  Jake grabs at his groin and rolls around on the mat.

When Choirboy goes to admonish him, Tim beats him to the punch and says, “Oopsie.  My foot missed its target.  Won’t let it happen again.”  He winks at Choirboy.

Tim then drops down to the mat, reaches up to the right thigh of Jake and locks a double claw hold onto the area digging down with as much pressure as he can into the muscles.  He intermittently releases one of the claws and slams a fist into the softening muscle. Jake is trying to squirm around and get out of the hold.  Finally, he is able to sit up, reaches down and grabs two handfuls of Tim’s hair as best he can.  He then throws his upper body backward and down to the mat, dragging Tim with him by his hair.  Tim releases the hold as his head is pulled upward. In sliding upward, Tim’s legs end up on opposite sides of Jake’s knee, which then slams up into his balls causing pain to explode from his groin.

Once Jake is flat on his back and Tim is laying on top of him, both wrestlers just lay there a moment, before Tim rolls off.  His hands are now holding his groin.

Choirboy, not sure if the knee was deliberate or accidental, decides not to say anything, but he does begin a count out to both wrestlers.

Both wrestlers manage to get to their feet about the same time.  Initially, they look at each other and then slowly start to circle.  Jake has a slight limp as he tries to work out the pain in his right leg and the pain in his nuts, while Tim’s groin is also causing some pain.  The wrestlers warily approach each other.  Jake raises his right hand in a challenge to a test of strength.  Tim responds by raising his left had in acceptance.  The two lock fingers and then each raises the other hand and those fingers are then locked in.  The test is on.

Both wrestlers are attempting to gain the upper hand, but the battle is back and forth an is essentially a stale mate. The stale mate is broken when the two wrestlers approach each other and Tim slams a forehead down into the left shoulder joint of Jake.  It feels like an electric shock runs up Jake’s arm and he falters just a bit.  Tim is able to bend back Jake’s wrist and apply pressure.  In a matter of moments, Jake is pushed to his knees.  Seizing the opportunity, Tim then blasts in a series of stomps to the stomach.

He then disengages is left hand from Jake’s right, lowers his right hand, along with Jake’s left, steps over the conjoined hands and then jumps up slamming his butt down onto the left shoulder while also jerking their joined hands upward.  The pain explodes in Jake’s shoulder.

Tim steps over the arm, bends the arm at the elbow and forces the arm around to the back. He then pulls Jake to his feet, delivers a knee into the abs forcing Jake to bend at the waist.  Tim locks his hands into Jakes trunks at the back and charges across the ring toward the corner post.  At the last minute he releases Jake, who sails left should first between the first and second turnbuckles and slams his shoulder into the corner post.  After impacting the ring post, Jake backs out of the corner, only to be grabbed by Jake and forced across the ring into the opposite ring post.  After this impact, Jake falls to the canvas.

Tim grabs the right leg and locks on a leg lock, placing most of the pressure up on the right thigh.  He then sits downward to increase the pressure.  Jake now has pain radiating from his left shoulder and right thigh. Jake grunts in pain.

“Do you give? Do you give?” the ref asks.

“No, aaahh, no, aaahh, fuck it NO,” Jake screams.

Tim just smiles as he released the leg lock and stands. He stomps into the left shoulder twice followed by the right thigh twice.  He then backs up and watches as Jake pulls himself to his feet by the ropes.  He attempts to use his left arm, but has to change to the right arm due to the pain.  Once he is on his feet, he stumbles slightly due to the pain in his right leg.

When he stumbles, Tim is there on him and lifts him up locking on a bear hug.  He cinches the hold it tight and begins squeezing.  Occasionally he will release the pressure for a moment, only to reapply it full force.  Jake feels the air being driven from his lungs and the pain in his back.  Suddenly Tim, charges across the ring and slams Jake lower back first into the corner turnbuckle.  He then relocks the bear hug and after a couple of minutes, again forces Jake back first into the turnbuckle.

He then reapplies the bear hug, charges to the middle of the ring and does a powerbomb, releasing his hands and pulling them out of the way before hitting the mat.

“Don’t fuck with me every again,” he screams as he stands up.

He quickly rolls Jake to his stomach and applies a Boston crab.  To increase the pressure, he bounces up and down. The moans coming from Jake are music to Tim’s ears.  Jake slowly begins to inch his way towards the rope.

Just as he is about to reach the ropes, Tim releases the crab, grabs the legs and drags Jake back to the middle of the ring.  He sits on the back and then applies a camel clutch. He is now concentrating his attach on the back.  He is slowly working over different body parts, just what had occurred to him during the match which Jake had refereed.

All the abuse has began to take a toll on Jake and he is considering submitting to end the pain.  Hopefully, this will have satiated Tim’s desire for revenge as well.

Sensing that Jake may be nearing submission, Tim releases the hold, stands up, grabs Jake by the hair and pulls him to his feet.  He then grabs Jake around the waist, lifts him in the air, charges across the ring and at the last minutes leans backward and then quickly forward, throwing Tim into the corner turnbuckle with his upper back impacting the second turnbuckle and his ass slamming into the mat.  His arms fling over the middle rope.

As Jake lays stunned in the corner, Tim says to the crowd “time to put this pussyass out of his misery.”  The crowd cheers.

“Or,” Choirboy says, “You can let me pound on him for a while.”

Jake looks at him and says, “I thought this was going to be a legit match with no ref interference.”

“Oh, it is, just like the contract called for.”  With that Choirboy pulls off the referee’s stripped shirt and throws it to Jake who catches it.  He is now dressed only in his wrestling attire.  “Put that on.”

Jake looks a little confused.

“The contract states that the guy wearing the stripped shirt is the ref.  It doesn’t name any names.”

After looking in the audience at the commissioner, who smiles his evil smile and shakes his head yes, Jake smiles and puts the shirt on.  He then turns and sees Jake helpless in the corner and has some second thoughts.

Turning to Choirboy he says, “I’m not sure this is right.  You two can go at it at a later time, more legit like.”

“This is legit.  He signed the contract.  He put in the definition of ref, so let’s do this.”

Choirboy turns to the crowd egging them on.  Not that they needed any encouragement.  They are more than ready to see choirboy go to town on Jake.

Tim decides this isn’t the way to go and starts to call for the end of the match.  However, he looks over at Jake in the corner and is surprised to see him shake his head no.  Jake tilts his head toward the choirboy and then looks at Jake again.  Jake smiles and nods yes.  Jake laughs.  Seems his old buddy isn’t as out of it as he thought.  No one else has noticed this interaction as the choirboy has been actively playing to the crowd.

“Okay, Choirboy, quite prancing around and let’s get this joke of a match completed.”

Choirboy looks at Tim with a little surprise in his eyes.  While he is anxious to beat on Jake, he didn’t think Tim would allow it.  Maybe there was hope that Tim could become a decent heel after all.  He turns to Jake with a very malevolent look to him.

Choirboy smiles and charges toward the corner when the real surprise appears over his entire face.  As he charges into the corner, he fails to notice Jake’s arms, draped over the middle ropes on each side of the turnbuckle tense as he pulls both his legs up to his chest.  He then kicks out with both legs, supporting his weight on his arms.  His left foot strikes Choirboy in the left upper chest, while his right foot connects with Choirboy’s right jaw.  Jake has put all his power into the kick with the result that Choirboy is lifted off his feet and flung backward into the ring slamming down on his back and the back of his head.

The cheering of the crowd turns into one large gasp of astonishment, as no one saw that coming.  Jake, not wasting any time, is out of the corner and across the ring where he grabs both of Choirboys legs, lifts them up and delivers three quick stomps into the balls, followed by a forehead dropped into the nuts.  Choirboy grunts in pain and is even more stunned following the low blows.  While Jake feels the pain is his back, leg and shoulder from his previous battering at Tim’s hands, his fury at choirboy and the chance to get some revenge on him has pumped his body full of adrenaline and he is ignoring the ongoing pain.  He knows he will have to deal with it later and even possibly more damage.

Tim is immediately by the two wrestlers.  “Hey, watch the fucking low blows. That is illegal.”

Jake regains his feet and looks at Tim.  “What?  This pussy doesn’t have balls so that can’t be a low blow.”

Tim simply smiles and repeats “Just watch it.” This could get interesting he thinks.

Jake goes over to Choirboy and drags him to his feet by his hair.  Walking around him, he places his hands around Choirboy’s waist and snaps him up and over into a suplex, slamming him into the mat.  He then mounts the Choirboy’s chest and delivers a series of 5 quick punches to the head.  He then rises up and grabs Choirboy by the hair again.

“Watch the fists,” Tim begins having arrived to the party a little late.

“What fists,” is Jakes response as he finishes pulling the Choirboy up.  He locks his hand to the back of Choirboy’s head, charges across the ring and sends the Choirboy to the arena floor between the first and second ropes.  He follows by leaping over the top rope and landing with both knees into the lower back of his downed opponent.

Giving the Choirboy no time to recover, he pulls him up and whips him into the fence surrounding the ring.  He follows the choirboy over and begins a series of shoulder smashes into the abs, using the fence for leverage.  He stands back and the choirboy staggers out from the fence and begins to slump.

Not allowing him any breathing room, Jake lifts Choirboy up to his shoulders with his head hanging down the front.  Jake reaches across his opponent’s body, grabs the right arm, pulls it across the back and then charges into the nearest ring post slamming the exposed shoulder into the post.  He quickly charges down the ring and repeats the maneuver into the next ring post.  He then rolls Choirboy back into the ring.

Tim is yelling at Jake to get the action back into the ring.  Jake rolls under the rope to break the count then rolls back to the ring apron.  Reaching between the top and middle rope, he grabs the right arm of choirboy and pulls it up.  He then reaches over the top rope and grabs the arm. Using this, he pulls the choirboy to a standing position and walks him down to the corner.  He raises the arm up and slams the armpit down into the top of the ring post.  He does this twice more.  On the fourth attempt, he actually jumps off the ring apron to the floor dragging the arm with him as the pit slams into the top of the post.  When he left go, Choirboy stumbles back into the ring and falls backward grabbing at his shoulder.

All this time Tim is yelling at Jake to get back into the ring.  Jakes does just that rolling under the ropes.

Tim is on top of him screaming, “Hey, keep the damned action in the ring not outside.”

Jake simply ignores him, walks over to his struggling opponent, grabs the right arm, pulls hit straight out and the begins a series of knee drops into the shoulder. While Jake is using his right leg and can feel each blow in his own thigh, he ignores the pain and continues until Choirboy is finally able to pull his arm free.

Not giving him a moments peace, Jake regrabs the arm and pulls choirboy to his feet.  He then picks him up and charges him back first into the ring post.  He pulls him out, turns and charges across the ring doing this again.

The choirboy was surprised from the start and has had no chance against Hurricane Jake.  Fortunately, the end is near.

As Choirboy drops to his knees, Jake circles around grabs both of Choirboys arms, wraps them in opposite directions across his neck, drops back down and places his knee in Choirboy’s upper back and pulls backward.  He now had the choirboy locked in a Japanese strangle hold.

A mildly concerned Tim drops down “Do you wish to give??”.

Choirboy has no response as he cannot form any words. He is slowly starting to fade out.  However, before that happens, Jake releases the hold, pulls a wobbly choirboy to his feet, bends him backward and locks on a dragon sleeper. This applies pressure to the back and neck as well as the sleeper aspect.

Tim reaches down and grabs choirboy’s arm and lift it.  It drops down.  He repeats the maneuver a second time with the same result.  On the third try, Choirboy manages to keep his hand up to indicate he is not out of it. He is reacting on instinct along.

Seeing that the Choirboy is not completely out of it, Jakes smiles and drops the hold.  Choirboy drops to the mat.  Jake follows him down and applies a chicken wing on the right arm and shoulder.  He then wraps his other hand across the front of the face and pulls.  He locks his hands together and then locks his legs around Choirboy in a cross-face chicken wing.  He exerts as much pressure as possible.

A groggy Choirboy realizes that he is going to go out so he screams, “I give, I submit,” Jake continues with the hold.

“He has submitted let him go,” Tim states as he signals for the bell.  When Jake doesn’t release the hold, Tim begins to count.  At the count of four Jake releases the hold and pushes back.  Choirboy falls backward to the mat.  The crowd is absolutely stunned at this turn of events. They had expected Jake to get the beating once Choirboy got involved, but no one counted on Hurricane Jake and his unbidding hatred at what the Choirboy had done to him.

Jake jumps to his feet and raises his hands in victory. The crowd is initially quite but quickly breaks out into shouts appalause and approval.  Except for the commissioner who is stunned to say the least.  He was definitely hoping to see a “choirboy assbeating” but not the one he got.

Jake’s aches and pains begin to return as the adrenaline rush subsides but he isn’t done yet.  As Tim goes to check on choirboy, Jake walks over, grabs a handful of choirboy’s hair and pulls him to his feet.  He then lifts him over his shoulders into a standing backbreaker with one hand pulling down on the chin and the other pulling down on the thighs.  Choirboy lets out a scream of pain.

“Break the hold.  Break the hold damnit.  You’ve won, “screams Tim.

While Tim is berating him, Jake walks around the ring such that Tim is now standing near the ropes.  Jake takes a good measure and then begins to spin around.  As he does so, the legs of Choirboy, still in the backbreaker, slams into the sides of Tim’s head knocking him toward the ropes which he falls through landing hard on the arena floor.

Jake shouts “Oops, sorry, sorry,” and proceeds to dump Choirboy over the ropes and onto Tim who is trying to regain his feet. The falling choirboy flattens Tim further into the floor.  Jake is crawling out of the ring while saying “My bad, shit my bad.  Sorry dude, so sorry.”

He goes over to the pile of bodies, rolls choirboy off and proceeds to try and help Tim up. He does this by grabbing the hem of the ref’s shirt and pulling upward.  All this does is trap Tim in the shirt as it is pulled up over this head.

“Oh crap, I don’t seem to be helping much,” Jake says with exaggerated concern in his voice.  Eventually the shirt pulls free in Jake’s hand and Tim drops back to the arena floor.

Looking at the shirt is his had with some confusion, Jake goes, “Oh, dear I’ve pulled off the ref’s shirt.  I should put it back on him.”  He does this with a patronizing and false concern to his voice.  But he then proceeds over to Choirboy and places the neck of the shirt over his head and pulls the shirt down to the waist with choirboy’s arms inside.  Choirboy is just starting to come around.

Jake walks back over to him, pulls him to a sitting position and locks on a sleeper hold.  As he does this, he looks out at the commissioner who is now laughing and clapping his hands with obvious glee at this turn of events.  This is turning out not like he planned at all, but much better.

Once Tim is nearly asleep, Jake pulls him up onto the ring apron, with a great deal of difficulty.   He then locks Tim’s arms between the top two ropes and leaves him hanging off the ring apron.  He drops to the floor, reaches up and pulls off Tim’s trunks and jockstrap.  The audience goes crazy as they know what is happening.  Unlacing the laces from the top of Tim’s boots, Jake then lifts each foot upward until he is able to tie the laces to Tim’s balls.  Once again Tim is strung up in the ropes, naked with pressure being applied to his balls by his own boots.

Jake climbs back into the ring and gently slaps Tim’s face until he starts to come around.

“Dude, you have one strange finishing hold, but if it’s what you want,” Jake says.

“Fuck no, no, not goddamned fucking again.  Let me out of this you fucking piece of shit…” Tim begins.

Jake takes Tim jockstrap, forces into Tim’s mouth and pulls the straps around his head and ties them.  He then forces Tim’s wrestling trunk over his head.  The crowd is going wild with appreciation.  Jake then raises his hands in victory and actually receives a standing ovation from most of the crowd.  They came to see Jake get the shit beat out of him, which they did, but got so much more.

Jake hops to the arena floor and heads for the exit.  He turns toward the commissioner and shoots him a double “one finger salute” before exiting.  The commissioner acknowledges the gesture with a salute, a nod, a smile and big round of clapping.

It takes about 10 minutes for Choirboy to fully come around and realize what is happening.  HE hurts and is also embarrassed at what happened.  At the same time, he has a lot of respect for Jake, not that he would ever admit that, especially to Jake.

Seeing Tim struggling in the ropes, he just laughs.  “Dude, you have a serious exhibitionism problem.”

He stands there looking trying to decide what to do, leave or help his tag partner out.  The old choirboy would have probably walked out after a ball shot.  The new choirboy, however, hops up onto the apron and delivers a couple of hard slaps, but not punches, to the balls.

“That’s for hanging me out to dry, partner.”  He then starts to untie and free Tim. Once he has him freed, he helps Tim to the arena floor and starts heading for the exit.  However, Tim still has his jock and trunks over his head and is trying to free them.

“Don’t bother just leave.  You wouldn’t want to say anything you might regret.”  They then exit the ring area as Tim finally pulls the garments free.

As they are walking back toward the locker room, they run into Jake who is exiting the building.  Jake is moving slowly and gently, obviously in pain. Tim is now holding his jockstrap and his wrestling trunks in his hand.

Jake looks at Tim and says “Are you over it now? Are we cool??”

Tim laughs.  “Fuck no.  You screwed me over and allowed me to get beat up, left me hung out to dry and you won’t tell me why??”

“Well, you just beat the fuck out of me so we are even on that score, even If I wasn’t the one who beat you up the first time.  That was done by your present tagteam partner.  And you, you are a fucking hypocrite. You just screwed me over here with your partner so were even on that score as well.”

Tim wasn’t thinking clearly or he would have pointed out to Jake that Tim gave Jake what he wanted – a chance at Choirboy.  Tim had been about to stop the match.  But Jake just continued “I just managed to turn the tide in my favor.  And you screwed me over deliberately which I didn’t. As for why the events of the first match happened, the commissioner will not let me talk about it under threat of retaliation.  But I’m guessing he hasn’t made the same demands of Chore boy, I mean Choirboy here. So, since you are some chummy chummy why don’t you ask him.  Course, I don’t expect he’ll tell you the truth.”

Choirboy sneers, “Of course I’ll tell the truth. He fucked you over because he felt like and he’s jealous of you Tim.”

Jake shakes his head and starts to walk away.  He stops and looks at choirboy.  “You and I, however, are not even and will never be even.  You got what you wanted and that wasn’t enough.  You chose to publicly humiliate me for your own purposes.  I should have returned the favor here tonight, but unfortunately, that’s not me.”

“Sure, it’s you. A fucking loser.  A wannabe. And you’re right it ain’t over between us.”

Jake turns and walks out.

Tim looks at choirboy.  “Enough of the bullshit.  What really happened that night?”

“I told you what…”

“NO!  You told me what you wanted to tell me.  I need to know what really happened that night, the truth, so that I can know if you and I are going to continue.  I know your reputation and what you are willing to do. I just need to know if I AM that person or not.”

“Fuck you!  It is obvious that you aren’t the person that I need as a tag partner.  But you want to know what happened that night??  I attached a ball torture device to your buddy and used it to control him during the match.  Yeah and to humiliate him afterward as well.  And if I had to do it all over again, I would.  I don’t fucking need you, so fuck off.”  Choirboy punches Tim in the abs, turns and storms off to the locker room and showers.

Tim stands there unsure what to do while rubbing his abs.  He knows he owes Jake at least an explanation and probably some forgiveness.  As for the Choirboy ---he is very confused with what he wants.  On the one hand he thought of himself as a good legal wrestler.  On the other hand, he can’t deny that he enjoys working alongside Choirboy in the ring, questionable tactics or not.

He walks into the locker room and sits on the bench.  He can hear the shower running.  Not sure what he wants, he simply dresses and leaves.  He has lots of thinking to do.

  1. Loving how the story between these 3 are progressing. So many possibilities! Glad Choirboy will likely continue to torment Tim and Jake really got to let loose. People always talk about a wrestler's signature moves, but I prefer when wrestlers have a signature selling move. That one move or finisher that's always used on them, and never fails to torment them, and Tim might have the best one around!

    1. Thanks. There is one more story in progress that involves some of these characters, but it is taking more time to write than I thought. Creative juices not flowing so quickly, but hopefully it will get there.

Many of my original stories were "one off". The wrestling story was stand alone and that was it. Recently I have tried to have a more "character based" approach where there is an ongoing storyline. I hope people are appreciating this. As for where these particular characters are going, I don't really now. The direction seems to change on a daily basis. sometimes I try to write it one way, but the characters resist and make me write it another way. Frustrating when I created the damn characters but they seem to have a life of their own (smile).

As for Tim's "finishing move", that was originally supposed to be a one time thing. But it still seems to be creeping into each of his stories. I'm sure at some point it will stop, but not sure when.

    1. Interesting question. And the answer is I don't know!! The Choirboy has yet to fully reveal himself to me or anyone else. Every time I think I have him figured out he surprises me.
