GYM ADVENTURES IV

You Shoulda Seen It!

Gym Dude

08/21/2020

They call me Jim.  I’ve been a member of this gym for years, even before it became The Body Shop.  It used to be the City Gym until a couple of my buddies bought it but that’s  a long story for another time.

Anyhow, the other day, I had just pulled my car in the lot and was waiting for a song to end when I saw these two guys racing across the parking lot.  Of course I recognized the kid’s muscular build first, like who wouldn’t.  He was running after some guy I never saw before, athletic looking, real solid, running ahead of Jack.  I saw the whole thing.

After winning the race, the guys locked up in a test of strength.  Knowing how strong the kid is, I couldn’t help but laugh thinking … this sure isn’t going to last long.  It lasted a LOT longer than I expected.  The guy soon had Jack bent over like he wasn’t even trying.  I could tell the muscle stud was starting to hurt but the guy just held him there like he was playing with him.  The kid’s big muscles were flexing like crazy but they were not helping him at all.  I got to give the kid credit, as much as it looked like it hurt, that young hunk was not giving up.  There was no doubt that he was beat but still could not bring himself to submit.  I felt really bad for the kid but out of some kind of morbid curiosity I couldn’t take my eyes off of that magnificent physique failing right before my eyes.

I was about to break it up when his opponent, if you could call a guy an “opponent” in a terribly one-sided contest, pulled the wrestle stud up to his feet then effortlessly lifted Jack into a classic bear hug.  SHIT! Those mighty muscles didn’t help the kid at ALL.  In no time the kid’s head just slumped across the other guy’s thick shoulder.

I’m considered a fairly big guy, even around THESE guys but I had to give second thoughts to any idea of mixing it up with anyone who could manhandle this powerful kid and do it so easily!  I’ve wrestled with Jack and I’m in damn good shape.  The kid took it real easy on me but he still controlled every move I tried to make and kept that famous smile all through our workout…..or I should say “Work-over”.  I’ve seen that hunk take on guys a lot bigger and stronger than ME and still hold his own but this character looked like he would be able to disassemble that powerful body and take his own sweet time doing it.  TAKE THIS GUY ON???  Hell, not without a squad of combat Marines to help me …… but then….?  No I can’t get into that now….

Before I knew it, he released the helpless kid then stepped along side him and stretched that massive frame across his broad shoulders like he’d done it a thousand times!  DAMN!  And I thought the kid was in trouble before!  I can’t believe any man could take that stud.  TAKE HIM!  He fucking OWNED him. He acted like it was NOTHING!  The muscle stud was totally helpless while the Country Boy just used him like some kind of exercise toy.  The muscle boy could offer NO resistance at all!

I finally reached over and unlocked the glove box for my pistol.  SHIT! I left it in the safe under my work bench after I cleaned it.  I sure as hell was not going to walk-into this mess without some major weaponry, then it occurred than anyone who could whip this hunk so indecisively would probably take my gun away from me and shove it up my ass, just because he COULD!

I reached for the door handle with no idea of what I planned to do next.  I HAD to do something before this guy seriously hurt the kid, but something stopped me.  I don’t know if it was self-preservation or just fear.  FEAR?  HELL?  I haven’t been AFRAID of any man.  DAMN IT!  I was a fighter even as a little kid.  And it didn’t make any difference who or how many.  Bigger guys might want to fight me but at least they would end up knowing they had been in a hell of a fight.  I didn’t have to face many of those guys more that once.  But NOW????  What NOW?  With a sinking feeling of shame, I reached up and locked the door.

After fighting all the thoughts in my imagination of what this guy could do TO ME, I turned my thoughts back to the young muscleman stretched painfully across the man’s shoulders.  Without even thinking about it this guy looks like he could literally tear the powerful hunk limb from well-muscled limb!

Then it hit me!  He doesn’t want to HURT the kid, I mean. not seriously hurt him.  Shit, if he wanted to he looked more than capable of killing the big stud any time.  Like, as amazingly powerful as this boy is, what the hell would he have been able to do to stop him???  At any point?  This kid was in his prime!  The off-season heavy workouts, power-lifting and bodybuilding have left this rugged colligate wrestler with a body that is nothing less than a muscle work-of-art!  How damn strong do you have to be to tear up a trained buff wrestler like Jack?

It made a really amazing picture.  Both well-built guys, Jack in his trademark square-cut wrestling trunks the other guy just in standard gym shorts even though they seemed to be working to hold back his powerfully built legs.  No shirts, no shoes just muscling it out with one another ….. Well to be factual, one more than the other.  No, this guy didn’t look like he wanted to hurt anyone.  It’s hard to believe, but I actually think this guy is just ……. Having FUN!

By now, The taller guy was putting his toy gently on the ground.  As odd as it seemed he was helping the buff youngster to stand then help him get back into the gym.  I guess their “FUN” was over.  I felt relief that what looked like one hell of a beating was over but to be honest I also was a little sad.  SAD???  Damn!  I had to fight the guilty feeling of enjoying …. YES, ENJOYING seeing a powerfully built guy like Jack being unceremoniously trashed by another man, and being helpless to fight back!  CRAP!  Now I’ve got a sadistic streak to fight as well.

I’ve got to admit, I’ve worked out with this kid and we’ve wrestled a few times.  This guy only wrestles with guys who are in great shape and bigger then him who might give him some serious competition, like me.  I get a kick out of fighting this guy, not because I have the illusion of beating him but to keep trying things to see if I’ll ever have the chance.  This stud isn’t some pretty-boy with great muscles, he is strong as hell and knows what he is doing, if fact I swear he knows what you’re planning even before you do.  And I’ll tell you one thing before you step on the mats with him …. When this kid gets his massive arms around you, don’t make plans until he’s done because YOU are not going anywhere.  This guy’s shoulder, biceps, forearms and wrists make an unbreakable combination.  I don’t think I’ve met the man yet who can escape this stud once he has you locked up!  I KNOW from first-hand experience, he may still be a young college boy, but he is easily the strongest fighter I’ve ever faced!

I’m still stunned by what I saw, but there is another nagging thought about all of this.  Like I need more shit in my brain???  How freaking strong does a man have to be to take apart a major league college wrestler especially a finely crafted muscle specimen like Jack?  I mean this other guy is big and very solidly built, not like those massive fire-plug studs inside but tall, lean and obviously hard bodied.  His build seemed so damn familiar, like I’ve seen it before, many years before.

I was late for my workout and a little pissed at the distraction.  This is not like ME!  Still, I found myself leaning back with the mystery of where I would have seen that physique before.  It certainly wasn’t in a gym, I would surly have remembered someone built like that!  He’s the kind of guy you want as a training partner who you know would be more than able to push you harder than you ever thought you wanted.  Oh, Oh!  Kind of like our wrestling star got today?????  It is finally starting to make sense.  Well, SOME sense.

I’ve got to get going ……wait!  That’s IT!  I know where I saw a body like that before!  YEARS before.  I was a little kid reading a comic book when I saw it and decided I wanted to be big, strong and good,  just like that guy!  He wore a blue outfit with red trunks and had a big capital “S” spread across his manly chest!  THAT is were I saw a build like that before!!!!

OH, SHIT, Big Guy.  My little brain can’t handle of this!  I have GOT to get into the gym and pump against the IRON!  A LOT!  A LOT of IRON is waiting there for ME to man-handle today!  Now THAT is some healthy motivation!
